NYMT – West Side Story

21 – 24 August
Victoria Warehouse, Manchester
With a cast of 40 and an orchestra of 35 exceptionally talented young people drawn from all over the UK, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is transported to 1950s New York City, as two young idealistic lovers find themselves caught between warring street gangs, the Jets and the Puerto Rican Sharks.

“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to create a new production of arguably one of the most significant and greatest musicals of all time. West Side Story represents the very best in music and dance storytelling, as relevant today as when it first exploded onto Broadway in the 1950s. The mighty Victoria Warehouse is an exceptional space – epic and uncompromising. It is here we shall create a piece of work contemporary in tone, ambitious in scale, immersive, truly explosive and unashamedly theatrical.” NIKOLAI FOSTER – director

Update On Studies

Hello all!

Just thought I’d inform you that I got a 2:1 for my second year at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance! Very pleased!

For my third and fourth year I’ve also decided to do the teaching degree, LTCL, alongside my BMus (Hons).

Half way through uni now, bring on the next two years!
