Hayley is a London/Berkshire based violinist.
Born in 1993, she began her violin studies at The Hayes Primary School in Kenley, under the guidance of Helen Butterworth through the Suzuki Method. She later attended Croham Hurst School and Old Palace of John Whitgift School, where she continued her studies with Karina Macapline.
Outside of school, Hayley was an avid member of the Croydon Youth Orchestra, leading and touring to Portugal and Prague. She then joined the Whitgift Chamber Orchestra where she played first violin for many years. This gave her the opportunity to play alongside both the London Mozart Players and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in prestigious venues such as Cadogan Hall, Sloane Square, London.
Hayley graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2015, receiving a BMus (Hons) in Violin Performance and an LTCL in Instrumental / Vocal Teaching. Whilst there, she studied under John Crawford and Gillian Findlay.
Hayley was co-leader of the orchestra for West Side Story with the National Youth Music Theatre in 2013 which lit the flame of her love for Musical Theatre as a genre. She went on to become a frequent violinist for the London Musical Theatre Orchestra and has been involved in the scene ever since.
She possesses both an accoustic and electric violin.
